 In addition to the above, there are
other places within a very short walk such as the Melrose Avenue Shopping Corridor, Fred
Segal Clothiers, the Los Angeles Interior Design District including
the Pacific Design Center, a number of wonderful outdoor cafe's, world
class newsstands, bakeries, hair salons, drycleaners,
bookstores, show makers, liquor stores, pizza parlors, sushi
restaurants, Chinese take-out restaurants, and the post office.
Within 30-35 minutes of brisk
walking, you can get to most places in west Hollywood, Hancock Park
(The Original Beverly Hills), The Border of Beverly Hills, The Magic
Castle, The Hollywood Greyhound Bus Terminal, The Beverly Center
Shopping Mall, The Hollywood Bowl, The Doheny Estate (city park),
Runyon Canyon Park, Gold's Gym Hollywood, the gay nightspots of west Hollywood,
at least 20 different first run movie theaters, and the super
happening shopping areas of Beverly Boulevard or LaBrea Avenue below
Third Street.
Within 45 minutes to one hour of
walking, you can walk to most places in Hollywood, Thai Town,
Ethnic Markets of Pico Boulevard, and the Border of Century City.
