Welcome to the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast! Come and join us for some rest and relaxation. You will immediately be greeted by the warmth and hospitality that should be expected from a B&B establishment. Your hosts are friendly and professional, and take care to provide their guests with attention to detail making your stay a memorable one. We are located just above the famous "Sunset Strip", and in close proximity to just about everything. See for yourself, a perfectly placed sanctuary in the heart of the city!
Step through the rose-entwined virtual "portal" into the retreat-like setting we have prepared for you. Almost in an instant you will feel the cares of city life slip away, and that your vacation has just begun. When you walk into the main house decorated in Old World and Victorian influences, you will notice the antiques that have been collected. Such exquisite pieces exampled are a Steinway Baby Grand piano, 18th century French and Lalique chandelier, Tiffany Daffodil lamp, and a fireplace by Bachelder.
The warmth and coziness of Guestroom #1 is inviting and will quickly whisk away all the cares of the day. It provides a queen size bed, telephone, writing desk, DirectTV satellite access and private bathroom.
Guestroom #1 is located just across the hall from the kitchen. This would be the perfect situation for someone who has a penchant for late-night snacks or early morning breakfasts.
This bright and cheery room has plenty of windows and natural lighting. Guestroom #2 provides a queen size bed, telephone, writing desk, DirectTv satellite access, and en-suite bathroom with stand-up shower.
Just outside of Guestroom #2 there is a wall library in the hall. Although you have satellite tv access, there may be nights you may want to just wind down with a good book.
This ecclectic and interestingly decorated room is at the end of the hall. Guestroom #3 is the largest of the three rooms in the main house. The room is furnished with a queen size bed, half-sized refrigerator, chest with drawers, writing desk, DirectTV satellite access, and telephone. The bathroom in the hallway is for the exclusive use of the guests in room #3.
Featured here in this photo is the view from the garden just outside of Guestroom #3. The french doors provide private access to the garden directly from Guestroom #3.
This path leads from the area outside of Guestroom #3 to the fountain, cockatiel's residence, and the private patio area behind the guest cottage.
Near the private patio seating area behind the cottage is a short path that leads to a stone "loveseat". It is a scenic area to take photos for memorabilia of your stay here at the Secret Garden B&B.
This charming detached guest cottage provides for added privacy. It is furnished with a king size sleigh bed, half-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, writing desk, DirectTV satellite access, and private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.
The guest cottage is accented with dark wood furnishings, an oriental rug and a non-working decorative pot-belly fireplace. There is even an antique Singer sewing machine included in the decor theme for added ambience. There is another small patio area outside the guest cottage near the guest parking lot.

is near our private guest parking lot. It is located just above the lower patio area.
The Studio Apartment is fully equipped with a full kitchen, breakfast nook, and full private bathroom. It is furnished with a queen size bed, telephone, DirectTV satellite access, and dvd/vhs player.
We thought of everything you'll need to whip up something quick, or cater a small gathering. A full size refrigerator, 4-burner range/oven, double stainless steel sink, microwave, coffee pot and all the cookware, dishes, and utensils are provided. Although you have everything you need to make your own breakfast, please join us upstairs in the main house for breakfast or some coffee and conversation.
This is a view of the kitchen in main house. The wonderful breakfasts are prepared here. It features an 1920's 8-burner Magic Chef stove, 3 ovens, and 2 broilers. The kitchen is also available for use for our guests to store their cold items in the refrigerator and to make their meals.
This is the other end of the kitchen. In the background is the breakfast nook for extra seating. There is also a mini toaster/broiler, and microwave available for guest use.
Here is an example of the hot and hearty breakfasts we serve our guests. We change our menu every day to ensure a pleasurable eating experience. We also serve hot and cold cereals, assorted pastries, coffee, tea and fresh fruit. We try to make sure that you are full before you set out on your day's schedule. After all, we are a bed and breakfast. What else would we serve our guests but the best?
This breakfast nook located just on the side of the kitchen area seats four comfortably. It provides added space in case the dining table is full. It also serves as a cozy seating area to have coffee and read the newspaper.
The dining table is our gathering place of hospitality and the site of our morning bounty of a complete, hot breakfast. Satisfy your appetite to the full, or just grab a quick bite on the go. No matter what your breakfast preferrence, we always provide various choices for every taste.
These brochures lined along the side table in the dining room are provided for our guests' convenience to assist in planning the day's schedule of sightseeing. Notice in the background an authentic hand-carved and hand-painted Chinese gong. In the foregreound is another Tiffany made lamp.
This photo of the foyer just inside the front door of the main house features furnishings with an Asian theme. The large cabinetry shown here is hand-carved in dark wood with mother-of-pearl inlays. The large screen, also with mother-of-pearl inlays depicts a story scene laid in lacquered dark wood.
The living room also contains a myriad of collectibles and antiques. In the foreground to the left of this photo is a Tiffany made Daffodil lamp. In the background, the large spinach-green jade screen is set in hand-carved dark wood with mother-of-pearl brocade inlays. Unwind in front of the fireplace on the large, comfortable sofa.
This view is from the back patio area behind the guest cottage. From here, you can see the lower patio seating area and the private entrance from Guestroom #3. The cockatiel's residence is also in this area. They're not the only ones who love the garden. Rubber Duckie loves it too. Can you spot him in the fountain?
Under the beautiful canopy of trees that shade the lower patio seating area, you'll find this retreat-like setting tranquil, and the perfect place to enjoy conversation with friends or sit quietly and take in the scenery.
